Held two line management positions leading teams of experienced project managers and PMO professionals, driving the continuous development of PM capabilities, governance frameworks, methodologies, career paths and professional communities within BASF’s global IT organization.

Led complex IT application development and transformation projects for major enterprise customers, including fixed-price and time-and-material engagements with international delivery teams and multi-million Euro contract volumes. Applied IBM’s global project management methodologies and governance frameworks across complex customer environments, developing deep expertise in structured delivery approaches, industry best practices and fit-for-purpose project management models.

Joined the German startup operation of Siennax, one of Europe’s early enterprise Application Service Providers (ASP) and a pioneer of today’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts. Led the design and implementation of service-based software offerings, including the transformation of a web-based collaboration platform into a multi-tenant, automated and scalable application service operated from a central data center.

Joined Origin’s German project organization and rapidly progressed into project management roles, taking responsibility for complex enterprise IT projects for major industrial customers. Led enterprise infrastructure transition projects within IT outsourcing environments, including the design and implementation of standardized infrastructure services, migration concepts, ITIL-based support organizations, service level management and managed service solutions across server, client and network environments.

Founded and operated an independent IT services business, delivering tailored IT and network solutions for small and medium-sized customers. Provided end-to-end consulting services covering customer requirements analysis, solution design, hardware and software procurement, network implementation and ongoing support. Combined deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial responsibility, customer management and business development, establishing a strong foundation in customer-centric IT solution delivery.

Started as a student engineer during studies in Technical Informatics and continued as diploma student and development engineer, taking over increasing responsibility within the R&D organization. Designed and developed hardware and low-level software solutions, including microprocessor-based systems, communication interfaces and application-specific electronic components. Digital circuits, PCB design, device drivers and technical documentation using professional CAD/CAE engineering tools.
