Start Up Greenfield

Managed assembly operations for rail vehicles, Critical Program Recovery & Stakeholder Management, overseeing Projects, Operations Managers, and support functions including S&OP Planning, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Launch, Maintenance, Safety, and Lean Manufacturing. Led a team of 600+ employees managing an average annual turnover of €600M project portfolio.

Build and execute the manufacturing engineering and CAPEX strategy for Cersanit Group. Best in class industrialization of new products & process (Time to market, Quality, Cost). Identify and deliver on improvement projects on existing processes by using lean tools. Supplier selection & follow-up for technical purchases in cooperation with purchasing. Research and development of innovative tooling technology (Additive Manufacturing).

Heading the all production activities in the plant (8 autonomous units – 1300+ directs & 200+ indirect reports). • Set plant lay out for optimal flow and efficient use of equipment: safety, capacity, reliability, operating costs. • Manage variable margin: direct labor efficiency, productivity/material cost consumption/scrap and rework. • Ensure training, empowerment and development of employees and team to prepare succession pipeline.
