Directing a team of 5 and reporting to the VP-IT, leads the IT Governance & Planning Department within the IT Division of Al Hosn Gas, a $10B+ Greenfield Joint Venture between ADNOC and Occidental Petroleum. Leads IT Strategy for the JV, documenting requirements for EPC data handover, IT infrastructure, IT technical and business applications leading up to gas plant commissioning and operations. Also responsible for IT security function.

Led the local KPMG IT advisory practice of 20 staff, this included responsibility for managing the oil & gas sector in Abu Dhabi. Consulted on technology strategy, business transformation and information security assessments which included application of IT diagnostic tools, IT audits, and client project management.

Contracted to Repsol and reporting to the Business Services Manager, was responsible for creating the IT blueprint for the Persian LNG Upstream project, a Greenfield Joint Venture between Repsol and Shell established to develop Phases 13 and 14 of the South Pars Gas Field, Iran. Tasks included documenting business requirements for IT, conceptual design of SAP ERP and creation of an implementation plan.

Established and grew the Logica Energy & Utilities Line of Business for the region into a $20M practice, responsibilities included business development for targeted industry accounts throughout the GCC, proposal and bid management, project management and delivery assignments primarily involving Logica and 3rd party technology solutions and associated systems integration initiatives including LNG supply chain, energy settlement and smart metering solutions.

Led the IBM Middle East Chemical and Petroleum practice post PwC MCS merger, responsibilities included managing an assigned $20M client account portfolio, building relationships with IBM technology partners and managing both onshore and offshore projects. In addition, was assigned as project manager, with a project team of approximately 40 people for implementing the Total Unified Solution for Upstream (UNISUP) SAP solution at Total in Nigeria.

Senior consultant and project manager, delivered several high profile IT transformation projects, including - Irish Shell, Fortum Finland, Texaco Europe, OMV Austria, UK Transco, BG Group and Kuwait Petrochemicals Industry Company (PIC)

Project managed the implementation of SAP ERP projects or as a design team leader, this included, Halliburton (HALCO21 Project), Shell Venezuela, Shell Europe Oil Products Downstream Alliance Project

SAP software consultant specializing in process based manufacturing and supply chain modules, also spent time as a technology consultant (Basis) and helped clients plan and implement SAP into data centers including software installations and upgrades, advised on SAP system administration requirements for database, operating system and network environments, delivered training courses and seminars in client-server concepts, technical architecture and supply chain modules.

Business analyst for European head office operations, prepared management reports for distribution operations run out of five European logistics centers, performed financial analysis including preparing budgets, balance sheet reports and operational forecasts. Identified opportunities for management to optimize inventory assets and improve customer service.

Following completion of undergraduate studies was recruited as a junior systems engineer for BDM, a US defense contractor. Worked on several systems integration initiatives at Kirtland AFB and NASA JPL, subsequently pursued an MBA.
