As Course Representative at Leeds University Business School I represent the interests and concerns of all MSc Management students with over 30 different nationalities and speak with academic and administration staff to push forward changes. I plan and conduct large academic and social events across several divisions for over 250 people. It further involves me building a strong network of peers and colleagues to collect feedback through various channels.

As project leader of BEEP (Business Energy Efficiency Project) I coordinate a team which provides advice to local businesses. We were able to reduce our clients’ energy costs and carbon footprint by up to 20%.

PRESS (Plastic Recycling and Education on Sustainability in Sri Lanka) is a new project aimed to reduce the problematic plastic pollution in Jaffna (Sri Lanka). We educate local citizens, and empower them through sustainable innovative solutions.

As team leader within 'Consulting You', which is an initiative by the world's biggest student led organization, I manage students studying business degrees. We help local companies to improve their businesses and reach their goals.

I was responsible for managing the International Student Support Center and supported students with their academic and personal development. I founded the “Buddy System”, which benefits both domestic and international students. I organized numerous social/educational events and conducted interviews for International Scholarships awarded by the German Sport University. I further conducted successful marketing campaigns for the promotion of International Mobility and administered external funds (EU-Funding).

As sales manager and assistant to the CEO, I gained valuable insight into a wide range of operations. I was responsible for client acquisition, negotiating with clients, client meetings, and sales reporting. I further generated sales of over €10,000. Together with the CEO I was in charge of implementing the customer relationship management tool "Salesforce" in the company, as well as giving workshops to all Senior Sales Managers.

I lived with and guided a group of 13-years old campers. During activity periods, I traveled with campers to different activities and assisted Activity Counselors with group dynamics and skills demonstration. Besides a great variety of other tasks, I handled everyday situations and helped forming groups with lifelong friendships.
