Responsible for establishing, driving and coordinating the overall strategic direction for the “One Microsoft” value proposition in the Automotive space. Microsoft continuously looks at where the trends are going, what direction it is taking and how demands are shaping the way innovation is brought to market. The approach we are taking is aimed at setting up a completely new paradigm of how technology will enable a good quality of life to the average citizen.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Simas worked at DaimlerChrysler for more than 8 years. More specifically, he acted as CIO for DaimlerChrysler UK and managed the Smart Car range for DaimlerChrysler.

Before joining them he was at General Motors for 18 years where he joined as production controller and climbed the ranks to become the European Program Lead for Dealership Business Solutions.
