Assisting lab-based operations for nanostructure manufacturing

During my time at Mauritius Telecom, I provided frontline customer service support to both residential and business customers whether they were ecstatic or in an absolutely terrible mood. One of the hard-earned skills that the job help me develop was salesman ship, where I had to constantly adapt my communication skills based on the clientele I had.

My internship at FAREI was my first step into the adult world. Being really passionate about chemistry and biology at the time especially regarding inheritance and mutations, this internship caught my eye. I learnt a lot on the spot about biochemical procedures regarding plant grafting techniques to create hybrid fruit trees and vegetable varieties but as well as being in mature environment where I was not with my peers anymore but with professionals.
